On the occasion of my installation as pastor of Precious Blood Parish in Cloverdale, BC, I was inspired by St. Paul's words: "We give thanks to God for all of you." After three months at Precious Blood, my heart is filled with gratitude-for our founding parishioners, families, volunteers, statt, seniors, young people, and everyone who makes this parish a home.

Above all, I give thanks to Jesus, who never gave up on me, rescued me, healed me, and called me to be a priest.

My prayer as your new pastor is simple: "Jesus, give me your heart. Help me to see them as you see them, to love them as you love them, and to lead them ever closer to you."
