The Precious Blood Parish community celebrated its 75th anniversary on Friday, October 14, 2022. It was an enjoyable and memorable evening had by all who attended our parish’s 75th Anniversary Mass and reception.

The three-quarter century milestone was marked with a Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Vancouver, Michael Miller concelebrated by three of Precious Blood's previous pastors, Father John Tritschler, Father Mark Bautista, and Father Anthony Ho and of course Father Paul Chu, our current pastor. Father Rodney Nootebos and Deacon Raul Abella also assisted.

During his homily, Archbishop Miller recounted the history of the parish and told congregants "Let us pray that, under the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and with her intercession, this Parish will continue to flourish and be the spiritual and life-giving home for Catholics in Cloverdale: "a community of faith journeying together to serve one another" – just as your mission statement affirms.”

Approximately 200 parishioners gathered for the reception in the parish hall where a video documentary on the Parish past, present and future was premiered. See the joy in the faces of all present! View the pictures from the beautiful event.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers that helped make the event happen. It was indeed a community effort.
